In recent years international environmental principles are transposed into the Israeli legal system through the introduction of new laws as well as the amendment of laws dealing specifically with environmental protection.
This article discusses the legal status in Israel of the most fundamental principles enunciated in international fora (e.g. the precautionary principle) with the aim of evaluating their impact on industrial activities.
