Regulatory control in Denmark on invested capital in the energy sector

In Denmark profits in the electricity distribution, gas distribution and heating supply sectors are allowed only as a reasonable return on invested capital and it is subject to regulatory control. The Danish Energy Regulatory Authority (DERA) is in the process of establishing new methods and principles for determining a reasonable return on invested capital across the different sectors.
