Safety Management Plan - Legal Aspects

During 2014, we published a series of four articles in the Journal of the Safety and Hygiene Institute. The articles analyzed various legal aspects of safety management plan derived from the Workplace Safety Regulations on Safety Management Plan, in force since August 2014. Among other things, we reviewed the cases in which safety plan should be prepared, the legal responsibility of the occupier of the workplace, an analysis of the concept of “acceptable risk” and discussed aspects of transparency and provision of information contained in the safety plan.
