An Inconvenient Responsibility

There are many cases, in which directors and officers of corporations, under the provisions of environmental laws, need to sign declarations on environmental issues. In many cases, executives sign affidavits or declarations, without giving the proper attention to the responsibility placed on them following the signing of the documents - and we doubt it they would have signed just as easily on a similar document relating to their private home. Sometimes, affidavits forgotten portfolios held by the administrative authority but, when necessary, on an environmental occurrence, such declarations of managers may be used against them. The article reviews some of the statements required in environmental legislation and suggests ways on how to fulfill their demands.
