Natural Gas and the Environment

Recently the natural gas industry in Israel is buzzing like a beehive: the latest gas explorations were found by drill rig in the Mediterranean Sea, and public opposition exists against planned installations for gas transmission and distribution. 

But what about the environmental impacts caused by the drilling rig in the Mediterranean Sea? The legal and environmental impacts, in the field of natural gas, are varied and differ along the supply chain of the gas: production and processing in the drilling rig, piping and transmission of the gas, receiving installations and usage of the natural gas as fuel by consumers. 

In this article we  reviewed the legal and environmental impacts of production and processing in the drilling rig.
