Regulating Nanotechnology - Environmental Aspects

The expansion in the commercial and industrial uses of nanomaterials has caught the legislators unprepared. Their unique size and reactivity with their close environment makes it especially complex to determine and manage their potential toxicity. This article looks into the current issues on the potential impact of nanomaterials on human health and the environment and analyzes the legislative measures required in order to regulate and ensure their safe use.
