Hazardous waste disposal costs go soaring. At the same time the world attempts to prevent transfer of hazardous waste to areas in the world where you can dispose of waste without the cost and probably without proper treatment, endangering of man and environment. The article covers a number of conventions and international organizations aimed at preventing illegal trade in hazardous waste.
